1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing SplitNest on Android or the Web, or testing the interactive demo, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Service Description

SplitNest is an informational ledger and expense calculation platform for shared households. SplitNest is not a bank, licensed payment processor, or depository institution. Recording a "settlement" in SplitNest reflects a peer debt record between users and does not constitute a bank-level escrow or funds transfer by SplitNest.

3. Household Obligations & Invariants

Members joining a Nest agree to operate in good faith. The system server enforces that users with unsettled balances cannot leave or be removed until their financial obligations are reconciled with their housemates.

4. Limitation of Liability

SplitNest provides calculation tools on an "as is" basis. While our backend implements strict 64-bit integer minor unit arithmetic, users are responsible for verifying mutual agreements and actual bank/UPI payment transactions.
